Default Deform Software

I ran across this software company that produces metal forming software. It may interest some. It does not appear to have sheet metal forming capability.

Default DEFORM Software

I have known the DEFORM people for many years and have worked with them in the past.
Their software, which is very sophisticated, is geared toward "bulk forming," namely hot and cold forging, including bulk forging, wire- and bar-drawing, and extrusion. They have decided to stay out of the sheet-metal forming simulation since there are enough software houses who provide excellent products.
A couple of years ago members of the Forming and fabricating community expressed interest in a DEFORM-like simulation Tech. Group, and this thread can well serve to address that interest.
Anybody who is interested in joining a bulk forming tech. group is invited to respond to this thread. Based on the response I'll look into creating a bulk forming tech group.
