Simulation Software

Hi, I am researching different simulation software packages for my manufacturing company and am looking for some advice. I know companies only share the good news and I am hoping for advice from real world experiences. Thanks!

Sarah: I'm teaching simulation classes in robotics off-line programming, egronomics analysis, and discrete event materials and process flow using DELMIA Corp. software. Each quarter I take teams of students into local companies using one of these applications. Big users in our area include Honda and General Dynamics. I believe I was told that their are some robot applications in the US where OpenCNC is controlling the robot. This means programming using M and G codes.

My old company used SuperPro Designer quite a bit. Great tool for modeling and optimizing a process.
